About Lock It Up, Inc.

Lock It Up, Inc. was founded in 2001 as a part-time venture while I was a full-time firefighter in Lynchburg, VA. I worked a 24/48 schedule, and having 2 days off between shifts gave me plenty of time to learn locksmithing and start the business. After six months in business, the company purchased its first mobile service van.

In 2003, I got married, and my wife and I moved to her hometown of Leesburg, FL, where locksmithing became my full-time career. We lived in Leesburg until the end of 2015 and now reside in Lady Lake with our two boys.

Over the years, I’ve attended countless hours of professional training on different types of locks, doors, hardware, cars, safes, safe locks, opening techniques, master keying, tools, and many other locksmith-related topics. I’m currently a Certified Registered Locksmith through the Associated Locksmiths Of America (ALOA), and I’m certified as an ALOA Master Keying Specialist. I do commercial locksmithing, including commercial-grade locks, exit devices, rekeying, and large master key systems. I provide a wide range of residential locksmith services, and automotive lock, key, and ignition lock services. I also specialize in many safe/vault services including unlocking and combination changes.
